The Vermont Flower Farm is a family owned and operated nursery in Marshfield, Vermont. They offer a large selection of perennials for sale as well as having several display gardens to meander through for inspiration and enjoyment.
The goal for this website was to provide a shop for selling flowers online, as well as update and older design. For the design I wanted the colors to reflect those of the flowers on the farm. I also wanted to incorporate some of the fun metal sculptures that are on display at the Farm, and created graphics for those on some of the pages. One of my favorite details is the loam footer.
One of the top concerns was for the site to be easily navigated by a variety of customers. The content from the original HTML site, built by the owner, was imported into the new design and includes general information as well as tips for gardeners and a virtual tour.
Have a visit to the site, and if you’re up for an adventure, have a visit to the farm. It’s worth the trip.
